The Human Rights Council in a midday meeting held a clustered interactive dialogue with Dainius Puras, Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, and with Alice Cruz, Special Rapporteur on the elimination of discrimination against persons affected by leprosy and their family members.
人権理事会は昼の会合で、達成可能な最高水準の心身の健康を享受する権利に関する特別報告者、ダニウス・プラス、およびハンセン病患者・回復者およびその家族に対する差別の撤廃に関する特別報告者、アリス・クルスとの集約化双方向対話を開催した。

Japan said Ms. Cruz worked tirelessly to combat discrimination against persons affected by leprosy. Japan stressed how important it was for the international community to focus on local and regional engagement in order to realize a diverse and inclusive society. Japan called on Ms. Cruz to conduct official visits to relevant countries.
日本は、ハンセン病患者・回復者に対する差別と戦うために、クルス氏が疲れを知らず働いていると述べた。日本は、多様かつ包括的な社会を実現するために、国際社会が地方や地域の関与に焦点を当てることがいかに重要であるかを強調した。日本はクルス氏に対し関係諸国に公式訪問を行なうよう要請した。

China recognized that the right to health was a basic human right, and said that China attached great importance to health programmes for its people, whose health indicators equalled those of mid- and upper-middle income country. The lack of knowledge in the past had led to discrimination of persons affected by leprosy, thus China always supported the resolutions that the Human Rights Council had adopted on this issue.
中国は、健康への権利は基本的な人権であると認識し、中国は、中および高中所得国の健康指数と同等だった同国民のための健康プログラムを非常に重視したと述べた。過去の知識の不足はハンセン病患者・回復者に対する差別を招いていたため、中国は人権理事会がこの問題に関して採択した決議を常に支持した。
