The Human Rights Council this afternoon held a panel discussion on unaccompanied migrant children and adolescents and human rights, hearing an opening statement by Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

China noted that unaccompanied migrant children were likely to see their right to life, health and education violated. They were also victims of slavery and other forms of exploitation. Host countries had to honour their international obligations and protect children from refoulement.
中国は、保護者のいない移民の児童は、生存、健康、教育に対する権利が侵害されている可能性が高かったと指摘した。彼らは奴隷制度や他の搾取形態の犠牲者でもあった。ホスト国は、国際的な義務を尊重し、児童を強制送還から保護しなければならなかった。
